To really get the most out of your board you need to once in a while give it a bit of TLC. There are many cleaners on the market, most of which would be absolutely fine for use on writing which has only been on the board a few days or so. If writing has been left on the board for a number of weeks (say on a school board over the summer holidays), you may need something a little stronger to shift this dried out ink. In this case you can use a whiteboard conditioner which will give the board a deep clean and help to recondition the surface (it will even help remove permanent marker damage!) You just need to remember that when a board has conditioner treatment you can't use for 24 hours, and must not be used on boards with rulings or grids.
1) Always clean with appropriate cleaners and conditioners
2) Brainstorm
Whiteboards are a great visual aids tool for throwing ideas up and brainstorming a topic. Get scribbling and let inspiration take hold!
